I abandoned a blog on this title and url. I guess I abandoned it because of dog politics. There are those in the UK making a business out of cani-cross, there are elitist and competitive sled dog racers jealously guarding their 'rights' to privately use public forestry as their own. I guess I bowed down to pressure and slid out. Well, now I'm back.

This blog is re-dedicated to bikejoring, canicross, dog-trekking, biking with dogs, activity dogs. Its about lifestyle. Its proof that you can keep dogs happy and fit - even sled dogs, without being rich or taking on a pack or getting involved with competitive societies.

Its about running, biking or hiking with dogs.

  3. Great to see you back Paul! I enjoy following your adventures. I currently bike my dogs with attachments that keep them to the side but am eager to get some gear and get out in a nice open area and do some bikejoring myself.

  5. Looking forward to reading the blog. Just been out for the first time doing a "have a go" canicross mile (with a Miniature Dachshund) and have had the most amazing time. Completely addicted, NEED to have a go at bikejor.

Note to self. May need a bigger dog...

  8. Hey! Nice to have you back! You are one of the first references to me in bikejoring! Now I'm training my Sibe. I saw once a pic of Wolfy wearing a dog pack on top of his X-back, is it comfortable por him? I've just bought a pack for my dog, so i'm planning using both at bikejoring. Thanks a lot and keep coming the nice (and fun)bikejoring!!

  9. Just got Callie her x-back harness from David on e-bay and it fits like a glove. Short video on on Bikejoring page on Facebook. Tried it out yesterday in the rain. Worked really well. I am using a retractable lead with bungie which really helps to keep the line tight and away from the front wheel.

  13. Hi just found your blog from sohummushers. I'm in UK and have an interest in this - currently I only bike with a Walkydog (one dog only) but I'd be interested in more. Hope you keep up this blog.
